I’m not a regular review writer, but felt compelled to pen one about RMT. I’ll say at the outset that I know the business well and its owner, Si Hayes, as we served in the Army together nearly 30 years ago.
Whilst we’ve not kept in close contact, I’ve watched from a distance as the business was started (almost 30 years ago) and how it grew to where it is now, alongside Si’s other ventures in motorcycling. I also did a couple of days’ training with Si and his team two years ago as I wanted to explore motorcycle instruction as a post-retirement sideline. The team's respect for him as the boss and for each other is palpable.
Based on my knowledge of Si the man, how he operates and his caring, but robust style of instruction. RMT was the obvious choice for me to put my 17 year old son through the CBT course, despite the 2 hour drive from Wiltshire!
The attention to detail was exceptional and my son (who isn’t the most confident young man at times) left the training with a really good level of confidence for riding on public roads and a keen willingness to keep learning and improving. He also took away some really important life skills unrelated to motorcycling! It simply could not have been better.
