Complaining to the DVSA about a Motorcycle Training School

It is very common for riders to be unhappy with a training experience they have encountered during their motorcycle training with less professional organisations.

We hear horror stories on a regular basis. If you are unfortunate enough to encounter poor or unprofessional training you must report it to the DVSA. Do this straight away to prevent it from happening to other vulnerable learner riders.

Types of problems to report to the DVSA include:

  • Not being taught properly
  • Trainers swearing and shouting at you or other students
  • Trainers smoking or constantly on their mobile phone
  • Not being given adequate tuition, guidance or coaching
  • Going on the road when not ready or competent
  • Being forced onto the road ride when not confident
  • Passing the CBT even though you/someone else crashed
  • Not spending 2 hours on the road
  • Inadequate treatment or training

These things should be reported to the DVSA, they will compile a case study against offending Training School.

If you don’t complain or make your thoughts known, the Instructors and Training Schools will continue to act as they did with you!

Please use the button provided to complain to the DVSA – they are the Authorising Body and will act on your information.

How to start a complaint about the standard of training!
