I began my journey on two wheels back in 1994, a path that quickly advanced beyond a hobby to a profound commitment to motorcycle safety and training.

My background as a seasoned police officer endowed me with a set of skills uniquely suited to motorcycle training, discipline, attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Started as a BikeSafe Trainer

At the heart of my career was a significant tenure as a police BikeSafe trainer, where I had the privilege of being involved in the programme through its pivotal stages, from its inception to its twentieth anniversary.

This role not only honed my skills but also stoked my passion for educating riders, ensuring they ride not just confidently but competently.

The Public Sector is Weak

The constraints of the public sector, however, often left me yearning to offer more to my students.

I want to educate and not just assess, I was eager to give more depth, more precision and more tailored training of individual needs.

Transitioning to the private sector opened up that avenue with RMT, allowing me to delve deeper into individual coaching, fostering rider skills from the ground up.

Deep Rooted Mission

My approach to training is deeply rooted in my own experiences and the high standards I set for myself and others.

Whether guiding a new rider through their first miles or polishing the skills of seasoned tourers.

My focus is unwavering: elevate every rider’s ability through meticulous instruction.

My background in advanced car driving, holding the highest qualifications, complements my riding instruction, providing a comprehensive safety perspective that is rare in the industry.

I Love the Outdoors

Beyond riding, I thrive in outdoor activities. I’ve trekked across the UK and ridden through the heart of Europe, experiences that have enriched my understanding of both the joys and risks of riding.

These adventures translate into every lesson I impart, ensuring each student not only learns to ride but embraces the journey of continuous improvement.
