RMT Motorcycle Training is a leading company that gives you a solid foundation and a unique training programme. We deliver a five day training course to help you learn and understand how to train learner riders.
You will not become a fully qualified trainer on this course but you will learn about the different Methods of Instruction, how to teach in a classroom environment and how to teach learner riders safely.
You’ll also learn how to structure and develop lesson plans, as well as how to give guidance and teach a learner how to ride on the road. Be in full control of your training delivery by having a better understanding of how to teach.
Most Motorcycle Instructor Training programmes are inadequate and are not well structured for you to progress properly. That's why the pass rate to become a qualified instructor hovers around a dismal 40%.

If you are training with a local ATB already, you should seriously consider purchasing the MITC Platinum Package for CBT Instruction. This gives you everything you need and cuts down hours of research and painstaking work.
Other books you may want to purchase are dedicated training manuals by the DVSA.
The course cost is £1999. This includes the five day practical training programme and the online training material with Lesson Plans, Training Diagrams and CBT Training videos.
This investment is necessary to gain the best start and to have all the Training Aids at your fingertips when you embark on this journey.
We run the training courses over a weekend, so that if you are employed you do not need to take unnecessary annual leave. This means the training course is easier to attend from Thursday to Monday.
You must have held your motorcycle licence for at least three years to become a Motorcycle Instructor.
However, you can start the training earlier. The example here is, if you’ve held your motorcycle licence for around 2.5 years, you can start the process so that you are ready at your 3 year point.
No you do not need to bring your own motorcycle for the course. It is advisable but for an additional cost you can hire a bike during the five day course.
