I started riding in 1980 and have enjoyed the various bikes and experiences over many years, both for commuting and for pleasure from classic BSA’s to modern Superbikes. I first got into the Instructional side as a part time “hobby” back in 1998 and was taught my trade here at RMT by Simon and the team. What a hobby I thought, being paid to have fun and with the best there is!

Very quickly the original thoughts were cast aside as I got deeper into the training and job satisfaction over-took. On moving south I started my own training school, which through adopting the ethos I had picked up at RMT, proved to succeed and grow a first class reputation in customer safety and satisfaction. When I moved back to the Midlands some years later there was no question in what I wanted to do and was welcomed back to the family of RMT without hesitation.
